|The is awarded to graduating seniors of select local New York City high schools. It has been in existence since 2004, honoring the memory of my daughter Jacquelynn, better known as Jackie to her family and friends. It serves as my daughter’s legacy and furthers her community spirit and faith in people.
In 2004, two one time grants were awarded to 2 seniors; in 2005, 2 additional one time grants; and in 2006 three more one time grants. All award winners to date have attended Francis Lewis High School in Queens, NY – Jackie’s high school. Essays that were awarded the grants are in the Scholarship section. Please read them and be inspired.
All grants are depended on fund raising activities and products. I invite all upcoming 2007 seniors from the select local New York City high schools to apply for next year’s awards.
